Parc Mawr – St Celynin Old parish Church, Langelynin, and Conwy
A circular walk starting from the Car park at Parc Mawr Woodland trust Wood where many of us have dedicated trees to loved ones, at Henryd.
Walk Details
We will walk up and ascend on a wide path through the wood and then meander on little paths with steps through Parc Mawr steadily uphill with impressive views and viewing points over the River Conwy valley to join the North Wales Pilgrims’ Way. This path leads us to St Celynin church (The Church in the hills). The walk continues further up along the northern side of Craig Celynin to Maen Penddu, a standing stone.
We will then walk parallel to Cefn Mean Amor to join a lane later leading us downhill back to our cars at the Woodland trust Car park.
Be prepared for all kinds of weather and bring a warm drink and a snack.
