In the Shadow of Tryfan and the Glyders – Llyn Caseg-fraith

  • 13/01/2024
  • Meet Time: 09:00

This is a half day walk and the first in a number of walks to small lakes and tarns during 2024.

Walk Details

Starting in Ogwen we will walk up Cwm Tryfan to the Miners track then ascend to Llyn Caseg Fraith, a small tarn that lies on the slower slopes of the Glyders. We will descend down to the farm of Gwern Gof Isaf and join the track back to the start.

Although this is a half day walk, it is on mountainous terrain. Sections of the ascent are steep and rocky. Some of the descent is pathless and boggy.
